Manually installing a ProjectSAM library

If you are unable to download your ProjectSAM library through the Native Access application, there is also the option to download the library files directly from the ProjectSAM website. Using this direct download method does mean that the library will have to be installed manually afterwards.

Step 1: Install Native Access

Even though you are going to download and install the library manually, you still need the Native Access application to activate the library using your serial number. If you haven't done so yet, download Native Access and install it following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Install Kontakt Player

  • Launch Native Access
  • Log in using your Native ID account if you already have one, or create a new account
  • Locate Kontakt Player in the list of available software and click Install
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install Kontakt Player

Step 3: Download the library manually

  • Your manual download link can be found in your ProjectSAM account
  • Locate the manual download link for the library in question right underneath the yellow Native Access button
  • Click the manual download link to start the download

ISO or ZIP?

Some of our libraries are offered as an ISO file, others as a ZIP file.
The installation instructions are slightly different for each.
Please continue following the correct instructions below (4a or 4b).

Step 4a: Your manual download is an ISO file

  • Open the downloaded ISO file
  • Start the installer inside
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the library to a location of choice
  • Launch Native Access
  • Locate the newly installed ProjectSAM library from the list and click Activate
  • Use your serial number to activate the library

Step 4b: Your manual download is a ZIP file

  • Unzip the ZIP file and put the resulting library folder in a location of your choice
  • Launch Native Access
  • Click (+) Add serial and enter your serial number
  • Click the Locate icon next to the library you just added
  • Click Browse and point to the location you put the library folder in
